LAKEWOOD, CO — October 4th, 2022

The race is on to open for the 22/23 ski season. Copper Mountain says temperatures have been consistently low enough to begin snowmaking operations.

The resort is preparing to host early-season race training, in about two weeks. The U.S. Alpine Ski team is expected to arrive in November, ahead of their upcoming World Cup Season.

Copper is slated to open to the public on November 14th, for their 50th anniversary winter season.
