I now have a better way to actually thank those of you who have been routinely reading my work, and spreading the word to others. Here's how:
I love writing this newsletter. I do believe it’s changed me for the better as an outdoorsman, journalist, and over-all human. Learning the perspectives other people have to offer, and telling their unique stories is a joy.
Take this picture for example:
I took it while standing on the course for the famous Leadville Ski Joring race — a sport as fun as it is crazy. The guy landing that monster jump on one ski is Yakov Foley; a man on a mission to save a sport that he believes is in danger of dying out.
As you can see, there’s a lot of stories to tell. They’re everywhere. I love it.
You know what I don’t love?
Marketing.
I hate talking about myself, my work, and my writing. That’s why I try so hard to keep the focus on the community. But still, if I don’t share my work, who will?
