ASPEN SNOWMASS, CO — March 10, 2022
Operators are extending the winter season on Aspen Mountain, due to steady snowfall and cold temperatures this month. The new closing date is April 24th. All on-mountain closing activities for Aspen Mountain will take place on the new closing weekend.
Other closing dates remain unchanged:
Buttermilk — April 3rd
Highlands — April 10th
Snowmass — April 17th
“With the continued winter-like weather and great snow in early March we have decided to celebrate the season and our community by extending the season on Aspen Mountain for one more bonus week,” said Katie Ertl, Senior Vice President of Mountain Operations.
“Everyone in the community and on our mountains has worked incredibly hard this winter and we wanted to give them an extra week to celebrate and get on the hill and make some turns.”
Closing weekend will include special events featuring music, and food and drink specials.
Details on terrain, lifts and pricing will be announced closer to closing weekend as conditions are evaluated.
All season passes will be valid as they would be in the scheduled season.
Oh, my fortunate friends and former neighbors of Aspen. Is Snowmass still open? Heard they got recent snow.
