This is a really inspiring quote! I wrote about something similar a few years ago on Thanksgiving. A friend of mine gave me the advice that you probably can't even remember the 7 worst moments of your life. Our brains don't hold on to that many low points in our lives. In a month, or a year, will you really even remember what you're stressing about now?
Love your writing. And yes I failed to trust algebra due to poor teaching. Didn't learn to trust my own footholds until I took calculus. Finally made sense when it led to graphing, lol. To footholds!
