Your articles almost make me want to learn how to climb, if not for my incredible fear of heights. I will take the message instead and apply it to life. It was a good one.

I actually used to be afraid of heights, but this feels different to me for some reason. Every sport I tried before it seemed to reward frantic speed, and sheer physical force. Climbing rewards deliberate movements, and a great understanding of your center of balance. I often don't think about the height aspect until I get to the top!

Glad you're enjoying the deeper core of the story though, thank you for reading!

I love how you made your point in this piece! Resting in climbing is so critical, and your body will force it if you don’t listen to it. It’s not always that clear in other parts of life, but it’s still important to know when you need a break 👏

This made my palms sweat 😬 "If I fall now, I’m going to fall far."

I loved your narrative style in the first part of this post. It gave me flash-fiction vibes.
