Snow sports have been trending in a direction that’s more affordable in the long term. But it’s done at the expense of a much higher financial barrier to entry for new riders. The Panadero Ski Corporation is working to change that.
A very cool idea to restore that place! It's wild to think about an abandoned resort just sitting there, so glad it's going to be used again and that back country access will be available :) Great interview!
Thank you! There are actually quite a few abandoned resorts in Colorado. What's especially uncommon about Panadero is how much stuff they left behind! Glad the locals will have a place to shred!
I had my 60th consecutive season of skiing this year, so I remember the time before ‘boarders’. Any chance you will restrict it to skiers only to keep it safe and enjoyable?
I am so excited about this! This is where I learned to ski and worked in the ticket booth in 1981...makes my heart happy.
That's amazing! It's cool that future riders will be able to learn here too! Thanks for listening!

😂 I'm not sure about that, I guess you can still find that at Alta if you're dead set on escaping the boarders.
Either way, thanks for reading
